The Curly Bar is the brainchild of Curly hairdresser Tash Benefeld- AKA, The Curl Witch. It is a first of it's kind natural hair salon in  Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Aotearoa (New Zealand). We pride ourselves on bringing our guests the very best in inclusive textured hair care, with a focus on environmental, social, and ethical sustainability. 

Our aim is to empower our guests to fall in love with their natural hair, by providing up-to-date international standard haircare education, and the very best selection of textured haircare products. 

We are at the cutting edge of textured hair services in Aotearoa. We invest in the latest international techniques for textured hair and we were the first Rëzo certified salon in New Zealand.

Our intention is to provide a safe space for our guests to unload and unlearn the negative associations that society has taught them about their natural texture, and to guide them to build confidence in their beautiful curly/coily or wavy hair.
